My Love Went Missing

Blessed? Or Cursed?

A colleague of mine was deeply on some thoughts.

When I asked her about it she said she witnessed a sight on the way to work today which almost brought tears to her eyes.

She was driving amidst the traffic and then she saw an ambulance cross by her. While she looked into to see since the doors were open, she saw a man seems burnt and a lot of green leaves has been covered over him protecting himself from the flies for the burn.

What must have caused the man to burn? Must that be an attempt of suicide or would have someone forced it on him?
This certainly is disturbing as the degrees of burns are beyond tolerance.
While the shrieking of that man lay on the vehicle, what was more painful was a dog which tried to cope-up with the speed of the ambulance chasing the man. Must be his pet.
Unable to stay in pace and push himself with the traffic of other vehicles, the poor dog had no way
but to stay away from the road.

Who is to be blamed? What should someone feel blessed about?

The human form, or that of a dog?!

Junior Pizza Maker

It's never too early, nor too late. Today is the day and so shall I learn to do what I love!

Some while ago, I and my family had been to a restaurant in HSR layout, Bangalore's Grigliato, quite decent food. Quite a good number we were. We also took my niece together as she loves to dine out.

While we ordered food and was in chatting while it arrives, she was shuffling between a few chairs and was hit by one of the chairs real hard. That chair hit her in her abdomen. The pain was unbearable by the little one. She wept ounce and ounce. Her parents stepped out of the restaurant with her, to deviate her with the vehicles, some lights around, some balloons from the next restaurant. While her weeping reduced quite a bit, she was still at pain.

Reiki stuck my mind then. I started doing Reiki to her with the intention of relieving her off the pain and bring those smiles back to her face.

She seemed better in a while. We dined and left the place.

Sadly, she did not enjoy the food.

There was a Dominos on the same road and we thought we could take her there and order a small pizza since she lovesss Pizza and then get back home.

As we stepped in, my sister saw a poster in the store which said Dominos is holding, Junior Pizza Making session that Sunday and kids will be taught how to make Pizzas.

My sister asked the store man the rules of it. He responded that it can be done even now as there were 3 more kids around. Happily, my little niece stepped in, prepared her Pizza and walked back with her Pizza and a certificate calling her, "Junior Pizza Maker".

Oh, the pain?! She had forgotten it. Totally. It was all in the minds of the adults.

"When you really want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true."

Reiki fulfilled my wish, what's yours?

Life Lessons That Art Taught Me

In today’s world everyone has the same excuse, ‘I don’t find time to do this’.
I remember the days when I started to sketch, taught by my art teacher in school. There was this urge to be the best amongst the 45 students in my class.
From a simple apple to a scenery, from a part of a body to a whole portrait, that’s what is called Progress. Amidst the race to always prove yourself the best, my teacher had taught me to "build the creativity in you".

Here are some if the life lessons that Art taught me...

Confidence - You cannot please everyone, be you

My passion for art started with pencil sketching. Yes, the only colors were Black and White. Many considered it boring, while I thought those we were the real colors. Amidst a lot of people telling to change the style I stood by to do what I wanted to.
Critics are always welcome!

Growth - Stay in style, be updated

The room of art is built with creativity. While you may have your own style, it is important to grow with the growth. Your creativity needs to flow through time.
While I was done with an apple, I moved to a scenery. While the scenery was done, I progressed to portraits. While portraits kept flowing, zentangles started to take their place.
Always stay unstoppable.

Dedication - Keep your cool, be dedicated

Sometimes what you want may really not be the something that is you. Not everything is one’s cup of coffee.
While I got deep into zentangle art and thought I can do any kind of zentangle, a friend of mine challenged me one of the picture of Lord Shiva. Sadly, I have not been able to get my hand on it. I shall do it some point in my life. However, it is important to not lose focus, but stay dedicated.

Time management and Focus - Set your targets, be successful

In today’s world everyone has the same excuse, ‘I don’t find time to do this’.
A good excuse. However, if you want to do something that you are passionate about, you can make time.
When I thought I had no time due to balancing of my personal-professional relationship, I challenged myself to draw one mandala a day. When I dedicated 10-15 minutes of my time out of the whole day, it seemed no-big deal.

Problem solving - Raise the bar, Challenging is more fun than easy

Small stuffs are easy, but may not be fun.
Much before zentangles, I was into quilling and it was simple rolling of papers of different colors. But, no, not so much fun.
I got into making more complicated patterns to keep the energy going.
You will feel great when you great on having done something challenging than just simple.

Accountability - Copying is easy, but not you

You are not a born expert, but you can choose to be one!
It is easy to exactly do the same thing what others have been doing, mostly because the end is predictable. Try out things that has never been done before, that is where you can have your own identity.
Though I have mostly been practicing stuffs from the YouTube or Pinterest, I am sure to have something of own someday.
Big or small, doesn’t count.
